More Tanks....

How about a water level with water tanks (better than ships) or subterranean tanks that can dig holes for others to fall into or travel underground and are only visible by radar or a powerup.  What about a jumping tank that can hop over walls and trees and pound the enemy into the ground. 
I have an idea for a weapon to. A Mega Missile that we can control to our target. This wouldnt be too powerful because we would be left vulnerable so it evens out a bit.

I think that the idea about a remote control missile is great and would really add to the game. However i think the others ideas would just make the game too complicated, when one of the objectives was to make a simple game, easy for users to pick up and play.

Ok, so this idea isn't at all original! But how about a tgank that can teleport? You could teleport out of trouble! (Or into more! ) It'd probably have a pretty weak weapon though...

why not make teleport be a collectable thing, but be rarer then the rest.

What if it took longer the plant/launch mines than normal. Would that even it out any?

I forgot about hover tanks. Well guess what they do....hover! Over water and mines The disadvantage could be, umm...hard to control? Say ur moving forward and u want to turn to avoid a spike tank but its turns different and u slide into the spike tank depending on how close u are to it.
Umm....I think more danger in the maps would be good too, like burning trees or debre from tanks exploding, spikes in the ground or a pit that kills u if u fall in it. But the best thing could be a good AI that could play with or against u, that would be cool but I know that this is going to continue being a simple game...

Hover tank is actually a really cool idea! The plan I have is to make 8 additional tanks when the game gets more complete. 
Ai or "bots" is also something I have thought about. I dont think this would complicate the game at all, it would be a very neat addition. Thing is, its very hard to do and I dont think its any use to have bots if they cant put up a fight.
Another use for AI is if there's a single player component to the game. I've been thinking about it and I think it could be quite cool, with different missions, objectives, enemies, etc. If bots turn out to be too hard to make then maybe a story driven single player game could be something for those who want to brush up on their skills or dont want to play online.
